func greeting(person: String) -> (language: String, greeting: String) {
let language = "English"
let greeting = "Hello \(person)"
var result = ("\(language)","\(greeting)")
return result
}
var result = greeting("Tom")

Your current code has a couple of problems but overall you have the gist of what tuples are and how they work.
- Your return type is in the wrong order, greeting should be first then language
- You're using interpolation to assign the values to the tuple which isn't required as they're already strings.
func greeting(person: String) -> (greeting: String, language: String) {
let language = "English"
let greeting = "Hello \(person)"
return (greeting, language)
}
Happy coding.
