I'm getting confused and hard to understand - ' Building blog reader App'

Is it me that I do find it hard to understand , I've reached Stage 3 out of 5 and to be honest I find my self lost. I can't really have the ability to keep up and make my own Blog list. Although the first course in android track was easy and I've managed to understand everything pretty clearly ! But now its seems a little bit mix of complicated codes together for me...I want to learn Android but its not easy as I thought.

Guys, what's the best way to do if your being in my situation. Should I start all over again, or is there a helpful websites that It would give me a hope.

I'm sorry for this, but I am eager to understand and learn Android.

What i've found is that if your just simply following along without actually knowing what you're doing you forget all too easy, however going back over material you probably now find quite easy can get boring quite quickly. I would suggest setting yourself a little project nothing too intense just covering everything in the fun facts app or the crystal ball app (whichever one you did) but without actually following anything, that's what I did and wow I thought I could do it easy but actually there is little things that don't really fit into place until there is only you to sort it out.

Once I had my app running with basic functions I started adding other things in like my own camera function and creating a questionnaire that made up the results into a CSV file and attached them into an e-mail and sent them. This really helped me to cement what i have learnt here so far and opened up my eyes to the full potential of android (I realised I've only just scratched the surface).

Also try answering as many questions in the forum as you can, you might not remember every thing you did but helping other really does help yourself.

Thanks Daniel, I'll try to create my own project and learn from my mistakes ... Practicing is the only key to achieve better programming skills.

Based on student feedback I've decided to add another course before the Blog Reader course to help bridge this gap. I'll also be refreshing the Blog Reader course after that to break it into two smaller courses that will hopefully do a better job teaching the concepts. Look for details on the roadmap. I'll post the new courses as soon as I have more firm dates.

That's Great ! I can't wait for the new courses to come out.
