Is it possible to have a course about SpriteKit with Swift 2.0 ?

Almost everything is in the title. I would like to know if we can have a course about SpriteKit with Swift 2.0. I have some ideas for "wonderful" futur games I want to develop but I don't know how or where to start, or the architecture of a game, what should I do ? I have some basics knowledge about Swift (loops, conditions, and so on). Is it enough if I want to start developing a game ? (sorry for my english, I'm French)

Hi I'm also wanting to do spritekit in swift . Did anyone get back to you about any up-coming courses ? I did email them to ask the same question and could let you know if/when i get an answer.

thanks Jon

Hello Jon, Unfortunately, I haven't received an answer about any up-coming courses. This could be awesome if Treehouse could do a SpriteKit Game in Swift 2.1 like maybe a candy crush like game ... Let me know if you have any info about it, I'll do the same :) Yannis

Thank you Yannis . Wanting to concentrate on game making in spritekit as well, have learned all basics like you . Will let you know if any joy . All the best Jon

Hi Yannis , I've heard back and they said soon they will have one on spritekit but not sure as to when . As soon as see or hear anymore news I will let you know . .they also said keep an eye on the content roadmap .

Cheers Jon

It is now the end of 2018 and the official answer is still no, still with nothing on their roadmap either: https://teamtreehouse.com/roadmap

It looks like you will have to do it the hard way by figuring out how to use the code in the Objective-C tutorial in Swift, cross referencing online, learning as you go, or check for more up to date Swift tutorials on fast changing platforms like YouTube..
