16,616 PointsNeed help with this J Query challenge :)
Problem: A prompt dialog will open prompting for someone's full name. Use jQuery to follow the comments in code. First, select the correct input, and then set it's value to the fullName.
//Show Prompt Window and store value
var fullName = prompt("What is your full name?");
//Select Input with the id of #fullName
//Insert value in to full name input
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
</head>
<body>
<label for="fullName">Full Name</label><input id="fullName" name="fullName" value="" disabled>
<script src="//code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.0.min.js" type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8"></script>
<script src="js/app.js" type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8"></script>

231,269 PointsGolly, someone asked about this same thing just yesterday.
In JQuery, selecting an element by id just means putting a pound-sign (#) in front of the id, quoting the whole thing, and passing it as an argument to JQuery (which can be abbreviated as just a dollar-sign ($)).
Setting a value is done with the JQuery object method .val(), and passing it the value you want to set.
So, combining those you get something like this:
$("#fullName").val(fullName);
FYI: Technically, the selector asked for would be input#fullName
, but since id's must be unique, simply #fullName
will do.
