Problems with Heroku command

When I use git bash or windows cmd prompt. heroku is not working

Have you already installed the heroku toolbelt on your machine?

Heroku toolbelt will install into C:\Program Files\Heroku and will be added to your %PATH%.

Inside git shell/cmd, what does heroku login return after you have confirmed the toolbelt installation?

it said command not found. I went ahead and restarted my computer and that fixed the problem.

No problem. Sometimes the restart is all you need.
