What are the prerequisites for this course?

Alena Holligan mentioned to look at the teachers notes but I don't see anything about prerequisites for this course.

There appears to be database covered in this course. Should I take a db course before proceeding with this?

Hi there, jaycode! I received your request for assistance. If you cannot see the prerequisites, it means that you've already taken them. I wish I could see them as well even if they are in a "checked off" sort of state. I have posted this as a suggestion to Treehouse staff, but it is still this way. Currently, to know for sure what the prerequisites are you either have to directly ask an instructor or, alternatively, ask a student who has not done the prerequisites.

But the good news is that you've already taken the prerequisites! Hope this helps! :sparkles:

Thanks Jen, Yes, I've taken some database courses etc. But am a bit rusty as it was a long time ago. Do you suggest that I refreshen my skills before taking them? This topic was next in the Objects track.

jaycode That's tough to answer. My instinct here is to say it depends on how rusty. If you can remember back to the database courses and sort of say to yourself "I think I remember the basics", then I'd go ahead and dive in. If you find out a little later that you need the refresh, then you might have to make a detour there. But if you have the thought floating in your mind right now "I don't remember anything about those", then I would definitely do the refresher first.

Hope this helps! :sparkles:
