Why are we using the v4-alpha version in the tutorials?

I think this question has been asked before but why are we using the v4-alpha version in these tutorials? I find it a bit confusing since if you go on the getboostrap website you're presented with the 3.3.7 version.

It's good to know what's coming up ahead, V4 is coming with some big changes, and I bet changes have already happened since the video was last made. V3 is still the current version, but you can bookmark the V4 docs to make them easier to find.

So it's ok to build websites (that will go live) using the v4 alpha? I've read that its features are not fully supported yet so it's better to stick for v3 for now.

I'm on the fence here about this. If you're building a site that people are paying for, or a site that will be heavily used, than you should use V3, I am still.

If you're building your own portfolio, or you want to mess around and build a practice site, by all means try out V4. Just know it has, and will likely change a lot between now and when it is finally released as stable.
