Python Dates and Times in Python (2014) Dates and Times Timedelta Minute

Write a function named minutes that takes two datetimes and returns the number of minutes, rounded, between them. The fi

    old = datetime1.minute
    new = datetime2.minute

    return old - new

what am i doing wrong here?

Tal, the issue is that subtracting only the minutes does not consider if the hour or days boundaries have been crossed.

Better to subtract the two datetime objects directly which returns a timedelta object. You can then get the total seconds from this object and calculate the minutes. Remember to round the results to the nearest minute.
