An Overview of Custom Controls in WordPress0:37 with Zac Gordon
In this introductory video we discuss the topic of creating your own custom controls in the Customizer and go over the steps involved in implementing this in our code.
Now that we've taken a look at how to work with some of
the native WordPress settings, let's try adding in some of our own custom settings.
This process will include the creating of the setting,
the creation of the controller, adding any code needed for post message live updates,
and then making any necessary modifications to our theme template code.
In our first example we're going to be creating a new setting for
uploading a logo to display along with our site title in the header.
